The addition of a Wacom stylus allows you to take notes on the go on pretty much any app (e.g., OneNote, Notepad, Fresh Paint, etc.) This particular digitizer features 1,000 levels of pressure sensitivity and palm rejection, which helps for more accuracy writing.

The ASUS VivoTab Note 8 features a slim bezel (though I still see the brand name on the front of the device, which I think it should only appear in the back), a 1280 x 800 pixels screen resolution IPS display. It’s powered by an Intel Atom Z3740 processor, 2GB of RAM (very standard), up to 64GB of Solid-State storage, microSD card slot available to add more storage, 5MP rear- and HD front-facing camera, and the company claims up to 8 hours of battery life. The new Note 8 comes with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office Home and Student which enables you to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
For what I hear the pen digitizer is thin, light, and works pretty well, and overall the tablet itself, despite that it uses an Atom processor, is pretty fast and responsive. The ASUS VivoTab Note 8 will have a starting price of $299 for the 32GB model and $399 for the 64GB model.
