Of course this PC will be powered by Windows 8 and we can only assume that by the time it ships, it will be loaded with Windows 8.1 (Just imagine how many more live tiles you’ll be able to fit in the Start screen and how many Windows 8 apps you will be able have in Snap view without compromising productivity or using this kind of screen for gaming). Touch is a mystery feature right now, but it’s more than likely it will be included. According to LG press-release the new V960 UtraWide All-In-One PC “makes multitasking more convenient with extra screen real estate for displaying more content and information on one screen”. Another interesting feature is the picture-in-picture support, which will allow users to watch live TV, while working or gaming. Basically working with the LG V960 model will look like this:
Although a resolution of 2560 x 1080 seems like a lot, this resolution isn’t retina display quality. Fox example, Toshiba’s KIRAbook is a 13.3-in ultrabook with a resolution of 2560 x 1400 with 221 DPI (dot per inch), and LG’s new All-In-One for the size of the screen and amount of pixels won’t get close to same DPI. Resulting on a resolution almost like having a dual 1080p display setup, which still great. And this goes without saying that you will be able to watch movies like they were intended without the black bars.
