For tech specs the ATIV Q features a stunning qHD+ 13.3-inch, 3200 X 1800 touch-enabled display (275 ppi), an Intel’s Haswell Core i5 processor, it weighs 2.84 pounds and it’s just 13.9 mm thick. It also packs Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of solid-state drive, a USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0, micro HDMI, HP/Mic combo, SD card reader and an ethernet dongle. There is also a stylus pen, which you can store on the side of the keyboard and the display is optimized for use in sunlight. According to the company the new ATIV Q can hold up to 9 hours with a single charge, although it may not seen very impressive, it actually is considering the high-resolution display on the device and that it is running two operating systems.

Now the magic happens when you boot the device, the Q main feature is that it’s a dual-boot system (Windows and Android), and there is more… Samsung’s SideSync software allows you share data between the OSs. Even more impressive, you can pin Android apps in the Windows 8 Start screen. Another great feature is that both operating systems are running at the same time and you can move in and out of each experience with a simple tap.
As a bonus feature the new Samsung laptop will also let you backup your Android phone and you the system’s keyboard to type in your phone. The ATIV Q doesn’t have yet a specific launch date, but will be arriving at the beginning of Q3, 2013 and unfortunately price is yet to be announced.
