The Windows 10 October 2018 Update received a new cumulative update (KB4505658) to address a number of issues, including the problem that were preventing apps from appear in the Start menu, Apps permissions not retaining settings, and much more. In addition, devices running the May 2019 Update received update KB4505903 fixing a ton of problems, including issues with color rendering, Sleep mode, Windows Hello, and Start menu. Microsoft accidentally rolled out an internal build to testers, which revealed a new Start menu design that ditches Live Tiles for traditional icons coming in a feature version of Windows 10.
