Microsoft explains that there are many Windows Insiders on the Fast ring that are currently blocked getting the latest release due to the 0x80146017 error, and for this reason users can now download the ISO files that they can use to create an installation media to upgrade to the latest release. The company also notes that they still actively working trying to fix a number of bugs before pushing build 10130 to the Slow ring, but it doesn’t offer a specific release date. Microsoft originally rolled out Windows 10 build 10130 on May 29th, to the Fast ring of updates. The new build offers several improvements over build 10122, including a new set of icons, a bunch of tweaks and tuning, and overall the operating system feels more stable and polished. If you haven’t had the chance to play with the new build, you can download the ISO files from Microsoft servers, and you can also watch my hands-on video highlighting everything that is new with Windows 10 build 10130.
