Windows 10 build 15061, according to the software giant, only fixes a few bugs and adds a few improvements to help finalize the Creators Update, which is expected to rollout to Insiders in the coming days.
What’s new on Windows 10 build 15061
This flight addresses unexpected visual distortion when watching certain mp4 videos in Movies & TV. Fixes certain VPN connections being unexpectedly missing from Network Connections. And it also addresses some Direct3D 9 games that might periodically fail to launch. The out-of-box-experience (OOBE) includes a fix to prevent the experience from crashing when entering your birthday when creating a new account. Unfortunately, Windows 10 build 15061 is not available for mobile devices. As for known issues on Windows 10 build 15060, you’ll be unable to download additional language packs on this build. If your computer fails to install build 15060 on reboot with the error 8024a112, you’ll need to reboot manually again. Some devices may get the error “Some updates were cancelled. We’ll keep trying in case new updates become available” in Windows Update. You can try this workaround to fix it. Certain apps and games may crash due to a misconfiguration of advertising ID, the restart reminder dialog won’t appear, and some hardware configurations may cause the broadcast live review window in the Game bar to flash Green while you are Broadcasting.
