Here is the breakdown:
Voice messages: Inside the message app, Microsoft now is adding voice messages. Starting in April, users will be able to compose and playback voice messages. Best of all the new feature works between Xbox One and Xbox 360 users. (For what I’ve noticed, the messages can only be 14 seconds long.) Dedicated servers for party chat: The new system update for the gaming console brings enhancements to party chat with dedicated chat relay servers that will enable Xbox One consoles that may have historically NAT issues to party chat more reliably. What’s On: Now the What’s On area highlights popular videos, movies, TV shows and game broadcasts. This new experience is available for U.S. members, but Microsoft is expanding it to Canada and the UK as well.
The update is rolling out immediately to those who are members of the Xbox One Preview program, everyone else will get the updates sometime in April.
